Code of Conduct

1.
This is a charitable event. Players are expected to recognize that the dealers and others involved in the festival are volunteers and are not being paid for their efforts.

2.
Players are expected to be courteous to other players, dealers, volunteers and any other persons associated with the festival. Players may be removed from the festival center for physically or verbally abusing any volunteer or anyone else associated with the festival.

3.
Players will refrain from loud or unruly conduct.

4.
Players may be removed from the Festival Center for profanity, cheating, collusion, yelling, unruly conduct, fighting or any other conduct which, in the opinion, of the security personnel is inappropriate.

5.
Alcohol shall be expressly prohibited in the Festival Center. Any player who attempts to enter with alcohol, or exhibits drunken behavior, may be refused admittance or may be removed from the Festival Center, as the case may be, by security personnel.

6.
Except for volunteers who are at least 18 years of age and wearing the proper credentials, no one under the age of 21 may enter the Festival Center. Players must be 21 to play poker.

7.
CELL PHONES and HEADSETS are not permitted to be used while playing poker. No exceptions.

8.
All players shall speak ENGLISH while playing poker. No exceptions.

9.
There is NO SMOKING at the poker tables. The use of any form of tobacco will only be permissible in the Festival Center areas designated for such purpose.

10.
Except for security personnel as permitted/required by law, firearms of every type and description are expressly forbidden in the Festival Center.

11.
No food or beverage may be brought into the Festival Center.

12.
Food is prohibited on the gaming floor (i.e. greasy fingers make for greasy cards).

13.
Tipping of dealers and all other volunteers is prohibited by law. However, contributions to the Qualified Charity are greatly appreciated.

14.
No electronic devices of any kind permited on gaming tables.
 


Players who violate the Festival Code of Conduct may be asked to leave by security.
