Overview
In General. The Nautica Charity Poker Festivals feature a series of weekly charity festivals inside a 12,000 sq. ft. facility at the Power House at the Nautica Entertainment Complex.
Operating Hours. In general, from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Tuesday/Friday and Saturday/Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Separate Festivals. Each week will be a separate festival and be operated by a different charity and will include such as activities as demonstrations, speakers, entertainment, arts and crafts and cultural events.
Texas Hold Em. Each festival will offer Texas Hold Em at 20 tables with 10 seats each. The play will have modest betting and raise limits. All money wagered goes to the individual with the winning hand. Tournaments may be offered each week as well.
100% to Charity. 100% of the Seat Fees and all other income generated by the festival will go to the charity operating that weeks festival. Players keep their cash winnings.
21 Years of Age. You must be 21 to play poker at the Festivals. No one under the age of 21 (except volunteers who are at least 18 years of ages with property I.D. badges) would be permitted in the Festival Center. IDs would be checked at the door.
No Alcohol or Firearms. Alcohol will not be permitted in the Festival Center, nor sold at the Festival Center. In addition, firearms will be expressly prohibited inside the Festival Center.
Rules of Conduct. Each participant in the poker play will be asked to adhere to
a code of conduct and be courteous to the volunteers running the
festival (including those dealing cards) and to other players.
The Nautica Charity Poker Festivals will be fun and exciting! In addition,
the participating charitable organizations will have the opportunity
to raise much-needed funds.
